Wrong-headed wars

I take what our health authorities say as seriously as I take what our national security authorities say. They have the same mentality. Kill the enemy at any cost. Even if it kills us. The war on terror. The war on drugs. The war on disease. They’re all the same thing. Same wrong-headed thinking, because they all aim, primarily, to destroy or suppress rather than address the underlying problems that give these enemies so much life, vigor and virulence.
