When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.

You know how sometimes you’re going along and a melody gets stuck in your head? You go along humming it silently to yourself all day long. You just can’t seem to get it out of your head. Well, that’s what happened to me this morning first thing, except it wasn’t a melody or a song; it was a saying. Turns out it was from one of Paul’s letters to the people of Corinth… “When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things.” It kept going around and around in my head. Still can’t seem to shake it. It really does remind me of how I once thought about vaccines. Of course, I no longer talk or think much like a kid anymore. You experience and you learn, and you eventually grow up. Well, anyways, that’s the idea.
