The point is about HEALTH, not vaccination status

This may be one of the most idiotic statements uttered on planet Earth since the dawn of civilization. And the bigger idiocy is that many doctors, public health officials, and journalists actually believe it and energetically promote the idiocy. …

“Unvaccinated people increase the risk of disease for all of us.”

I think a more accurate statement, frankly, is that vaccinated people increase the risk of disease for all of us. Part of this logic is based on the phenomenon of “shedding”. People who are vaccinated with live-virus or attenuated-virus vaccines can shed the virus and infect other people. The other part of the logic is based on the fact that vaccines can seriously damage the immune system and thus make vaccinated people more, not less, susceptible to disease, thus increasing the likelihood that they would infect others. If you are a healthy individual who undertakes to do things that lower your “susceptibility” to disease, you thus lower the risk of disease for all of us. THAT is the relevant point. It has little or nothing to do with vaccination, apart from whether you believe vaccinating makes one healthier or less healthy, more susceptible or less susceptible to disease. The overarching point is about HEALTH.
