So then why the need for vaccine mandates

Now that we know that the theory of “herd immunity” is complete bunk. (No, really.) And we also know that vaccines were not the reason for the decline in the mortality or even incidence of infectious diseases. Then, there’s no reason to eliminate exemptions to vaccine mandates, or even have mandates in the first place. The unvaccinated simply do not pose a threat to the vaccinated. (That was always a weird idea to begin with.) And all those relatively harmless diseases—like measles and chickenpox and mumps that people are so skittish about—won’t come raging back and destroy our world if less people just say no to vaccines. (No, really.) Yes, it’s true… the vaccine industry would gradually cease to exist. It’s called free market economics. If a product stinks, people eventually wise up and stop using it.
