Just two words: herd immunity

Remember that great scene from the movie The Graduate where the main character, played by Dustin Hoffman, is pulled aside at a party and given some advice by a man, who says:

“I just want to say one word to you. Just one word. Are you listening? Plastics.”

Well, I just want to say two words to you. Herd. Immunity. Get that. I mean, really get that, and you’ll understand why there is no rationale for mandatory vaccination laws. None.

(Check out the following blogs I’ve taken the time to put together for you: There is no herd immunity and Herd immunity 101. Oh, and, of course, my article… The Misunderstood Theory of Herd Immunity.)

Just two words, and you’re off to the races.
