Oh, those great scientific discoveries

Vaccines are consistently held up as one of the great scientific discoveries. So was the pesticide DDT, which paralyzed (“polio”) and killed tens of thousands of Americans during the 1940s and 1950s and caused countless birth defects, until it was finally banned from the US. Amazingly, DDT is used by the agricultural industry in Brazil. The highly toxic chemical is also used to fumigate against mosquitoes in the cities. Gosh, wonder if that might be making matters a million times worse? Wonder if, in fact, it’s DDT that might be causing all those shrunken head babies to begin with? Hey, just a thought.
