Green eggs and ham

It really is amazing to see a Harvard and Princeton (two great elite “liberal” arts schools, by the way) educated guy like Ted Cruz stand up on the floor of the US Senate and read Dr. Seuss’s “Green Eggs and Ham” and completely miss the moral of the story… which is, as Senator Chuck Schumer of NY correctly noted, “Don’t criticize something, don’t reject something, until you actually try it. Sam said he didn’t like green eggs and ham for a long time. And then when he finally tried it, he liked it.” Cruz was reading the book as part of his filibuster against funding Obamacare. Clearly, Mr. Cruz peaked intellectually in college.
