Bailout Hypocrisy

Note: The 2002 Winter Olympics in Utah were “saved” by Mitt Romney AND a $1.3 billion bailout by the US taxpayer, which Mr. Romney asked for. This is important to keep in mind for the sake of balance. As good of a manager as Mr. Romney unquestionably is, he is an even better fundraiser. Give him credit for going to Congress and making the case for a government bailout, but keep in mind that there is also a certain degree of hypocrisy here. To seek a government bailout when it suits your interests and then be critical of your opponents and accuse them of not understanding how capitalism works when they advocate a bailout is disingenuous, at best.
