Governing involves a lot of calculations. Bad governing suggests a series of bad calculations. In my opinion, Mr. Zelaya compiled a series of miscalculations, which in the end got him thrown out of office in a most demeaning manner. As I’ve said before, Mel simply gambled big and lost big. I think his failures are largely his fault, and thus he has nobody to blame but himself… regardless of whether it was all done in a just or legal manner. I think that one of Mel’s biggest flaws is that he continues to deny any responsibility for what befell him. It’s like everyone conspired against him and he is totally innocent of everything. Just not very credible.
