The main problem has been Mel’s style of governing and his strategies. My primary (… not only) criticism of Mr. Zelaya is that he polarized Honduran society to an extreme degree. He created fear unnecessarily and used coercion and manipulation way too much to try and get his way. To be fair, Mel probably felt cornered, given the level of disfunctionality and corruption within the Honduran government. But that is no excuse for what he did.
