No education, plenty of mobs

It’s true that things could be worse in Honduras in the short-term. But in the long-term, there’s probably nothing worse than having yet another generation of uneducated children in Honduras because it is precisely these children who will have no skills and no discipline and no ability to think for themselves. Essentially, we are creating mobs who will rule Honduras in the future. Members of mobs tend to be ripe for joining gangs, selling drugs, committing acts of violence, constantly expecting they are entitled to be given without feeling they need to produce…
