I think it’s not useful to get side-tracked on having intellectual, theoretical discussions about the pros and cons of socialism vs capitalism or comparing the US and Canada. Honduras is a unique situation. The reality is that the “establishment” consists of people… some of which are good and some of which are not so good. The exact same is true for people within revolutionary movements. You are assuming that only President Zelaya and his administration hold the truth and all the right answers to Honduras. Mr. Zelaya is a guy (nothing more, nothing less) who is imperfect, like all the rest of us. Consider for a moment that he may be misguided. I’ve seen absolutely no sign of original, creative or higher thinking on his part. What I’m seeing are some disturbing signs of mob rule.
